The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities National Internship Program is seeking applicants for spring and summer 2015 intenrship sessions!

The HACU National Internship Program (HNIP) provides students the opportunity to receive valuable work experience through paid internships with federal agencies and private corporations. Since its inception, HNIP has provided more than 10,000 internships. The deadline for students to apply for a spring internship is November 14th. The summer session has two deadlines:

Students who wish to be considered for U.S. Intelligence Community internships or international opportunities must apply by October 31st.

For all other internships with the federal government and corporate partners, students must apply before February 27th.

HNIP matches a student's career interests, educational background, and previous work or volunteer experience with the needs and demands of federal and corporate partners. Students receive paid round-trip airfare to their internship site, housing arrangement assistance, emergency medical insurance, a weekly stipend, and attend an intern orientation in Washington, D.C. Throughout the internship, students also participate in a wide range of professional development, networking, and cultural activities.

To apply, visit www.hacu.net/hnip and read stories shared by current interns, previous internship supervisors, and program alumni. For questions about HNIP, you can reach the Washington, D.C. office at 202-467-2893 or at hnip@hacu.net.
