This workshop explores common negative study habits and consider ways to replace these with more effective strategies.


Writing in Spanish

This workshop is for Spanish language learners as well as those who wish to improve their Spanish writing skills. Topics include common misconceptions about grammar, verb tenses/moods, and spelling. Also covered are strategies for composition, Spanish writing resources, and typing with a Spanish keyboard.   Open to students at all skill levels.

What does it really take to get into graduate school?  How can you write a Statement of Purpose that shines? Come and learn about Statements of Purpose in this interactive workshop, a collaboration of Career Services and The Writing Center.


All events are free and do not require registration.

In addition to the events listed above, the Writing Center provides individual counseling in writing for Texas State students at any level of study in any discipline.
