Instructor’s Overview:
The course will be taught via the case study method and student-led Learning Teams methods. The first week of class, we will create 4-5 learning teams from the class. Each class period a learning team will present the case assigned for that class period according to the course outline (see below).  Each team will present roughly three cases. We will also learn from some lecture, guest speakers, and a capstone research project. There are no exams – this class is focused on applied learning.

This class will count as an advanced business elective, advanced management elective, or a free elective. Even though it is listed as a management course, you must get department approval from the Finance & Economics Department. For more info, you can visit or contact our advising center at 512-245-1993.
