Did you know you can print from any device, anywhere with Alkek's SendNPrint feature? Find out what else Alkek has to offer!

There’s nowhere like the Library to gain an academic edge.  Visit the Alkek Library during any of the many hours of operation.

Start on your path to academic success by visiting any of the staffed service desks:
-        The Circulation/Reserve Desk (2nd Floor) will help you check out or renew library materials, pick up or return Interlibrary Loan materials, and find Reserve items for classes.
-        The Research & Information Desk (2nd Floor) and the Government Information Desk (4th Floor) provide one-on-one research assistance for faculty, students, and other library users in person, chat, or via phone.
-        On the 4th floor you’ll find the Alkek Library Computer Lab and Service Desk.
-        Here’s a link to the Library’s virtual help desk.  Librarians are on duty to make sure no question goes unanswered.  When in doubt, Ask a Librarian!

The Library has some snazzy new spaces and services to enhance your academic experience.
-        The Collaboration Center is located on the 4th floor, where you’ll find group conference rooms equipped with technology ideal for presentations and video conferencing.
-        The Collaboration Zone is located on the 2nd floor.  Three technology supported group areas are furnished with large monitors for displaying multiple laptop screens.
-        The 5th floor features reservable group study rooms, and on the 6th floor, graduate student lockers will soon be available.
-        NEW!!! SendNPrint  enables Texas State students to print to library printers from any device, anywhere.
-        Last, but not least!  Check out the latest episode of "Ask Jessica," a video series in which Undergraduate Librarian Jessica McClean explores library topics of interest and fields your questions.  Don’t miss your chance to have your questions answered in future installments. Contact Jessica at jlm336@txstate.edu, or via the Library's tumblr site.
