Marketing Internship Mixer

If you are a student interested in a marketing internship, then we have just the event for you!

Robot Creative is planning a mixer on Monday, December 5th, to pair students looking for marketing internships with small businesses looking for marketing interns. This is a great opportunity for students to network with small business owners in a variety of industries from around San Antonio.

The event will take place on December 5th from 4-5:30 p.m. at Robot Creative's office (details below), and we are looking for students who would like to attend or participate.

Interested students should email Brittany Tradup (brittany@robotcreative.com) by noon on Thursday, December 1, with the following:

1) Resume
2) Completed studet profile form (download at http://www.robotcreative.com/internmixer_StudentProfile.doc)

Robot Creative will provide each small business owner who attends with all submitted student resumes and information, even if the student cannot attend the mixer. Student must submit by the deadline to be included in this packet.

GSP Review Sessions

Students majoring in Mass Communication or Health Administration are required to pass the Grammar, Spelling, and Punctuation Exam. The Writing Center offers a review session every week to help students take on the GSP challenge. The review sessions are also a great review of basic grammar and punctuation for all students.

Writers' Meetup Group

Every Monday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. in FHG09

Bring copies of your work (fiction, short fiction, or poetry of any genre) to workshop with passionate peers!

Finally, Words Work Literacy Journal is currently accepting submissions of anything creative from anyone at Texas State: fiction, nonfiction, poetry, visual art (paintings, photography, etc.), music, games, apps, etc.
