GMAT Strategy Session for Fall 2014 is this Friday

The GMAT exam is an important component of your application but it can be a source of anxiety and stress. The best solution is to be prepared. The McCoy College of Business is proud to partner with The Princeton Review as the McCoy Graduate School of Business hosts a free GMAT Strategy Session. This two-hour event will provide you with strategy and proven techniques that will help maximize your GMAT score.

During this session you will learn about the types of questions you will see on the GMAT, meet an expert Princeton Review instructor who will walk you through the different sections of the exam, and discuss proven strategies that you can use on your test day.

Upon completion of the GMAT Strategy Session you will receive a link to access a free Practice GMAT Exam which will give you a sense of how you would score on the actual test. This practice exam can help identify areas in which you are strong in addition to areas you need to focus on in order to achieve a competitive score.

This is a free event. However, due to limited seating please RSVP.

Teach For America: Next Application Deadline September 12th

Education transforms lives. All kids can succeed when they get a great education.

Educational opportunities should not be determined by your family’s income or the neighborhood in which you live. That’s why Teach For America is growing the force of leaders committed to ensuring that all kids have an education that expands their opportunities and gives them more choices in life. Leadership through TFA begins in the classroom, where corps members spend at least two years in low-income communities teaching students and helping them reach their full potential. Through teaching, they develop the skills, mindsets, and relationships necessary to become lifelong advocates for students and join a nationwide network of change-makers.

This year, 11,000 corps members are teaching in 50 regions across the country, while nearly 37,000 Teach For America alumni continue working from inside and outside the field of education for the changes necessary to make a great education a reality for all.

You have the power to help kids get a great education that will give them choices in life. Apply to the 2014 Teach For America corps.
