CBS Radio Dallas Internship Program

CBS Radio Dallas is holding an Internship Orientation Day on Friday, May 18th, 2012 for all students. 

During the orientation, students will have the opportunity to learn about and apply for several internships available within the Dallas stations and their departments for this Summer 2012.

The Internship Orientation Day will take place from 4:00 - 5:00 p.m. at CBS Radio Dallas.

Honor Cords for Veterans

If you are a veteran and want your honor cord for graduation you can pick them up in the Quad in front of the Evans building on April 25, April 26 and May 3 between 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.  You must bring a photo ID to receive your honor cord.

Free GRE Strategy Session & Pizza TONIGHT at 5pm in Career Services

The Princeton Review is hosting an on campus GRE Strategy Session today, Monday, April 16, from 5pm to 7pm in the Career Services Office of the LBJ Student Center.  Anyone interested in learning about the GRE or applying to graduate schools is welcome to attend.  They will provide pizza and instructor, Elia Zashin, will be presenting an overview of the test, a few key study tips, and other relevant graduate school admissions information.   I hope you will consider attending!

Check your holds and registration status for your access times to see if you are ready to register for Fall classes. 

Fall 2012 Registration: April 9- April 25, 2012 

Late registration for summer starts on May 29th. 

McCoy Advising Appointments - New "No-Show" Policy.

Have you missed an advising appointment or cancelled right before?  Be aware there is a new No Show Policy in effect for advising appointments in McCoy Hall. 

After three no-shows, you will forfeit the right to schedule appointments in advance and will only be able to schedule and attend same-day appointments (which are not guaranteed and are available on a first-come, first-served basis).

**If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, you must notify the Advising Center by phone or in person at least four hours in advance.  If you fail to give four hours notice or if you do not attend your appointment, your absence will be noted as a no-show.
